RaekeNet is a purely private, non-commercial project run out of personal passion for IRC.

// Administration Model

To ensure orderly and secure chat operations, the team is divided into three areas of responsibility:

The Founder and Network Administrator carries overall responsibility and handles the provisioning, maintenance, and stability of the server infrastructure.
During ongoing chat operations, the IRCOps (IRC Operators) ensure compliance with the server rules. They moderate the network and can issue permanent chat bans in the event of persistent disruptions or rule violations.
Serving as direct points of contact for users, the HelpOps (Help Operators) do not have moderation rights, but provide support in the #help channel for all questions regarding IRC and the services.

An IRC veteran with deep roots in the legendary DALnet, where the journey began back in 1998. After countless fascinating nights in front of the screen, worldwide conversations across continents, and managing a major channel, he went on to build and provide long-term support for BikersIRC starting in 2005, and later SchnackIRC. Nearly three decades of valuable chat and community experience now flow into RaekeNet. Responsible for server technology, Anope Services, and the overall system.
