To ensure that chatting remains pleasant, safe, and transparent for everyone, a few simple rules apply here. By using our server, you agree to these guidelines.

Respect & Interaction: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Insults, threats, and other harassing content have no place here.
Spam & Advertising: Unsolicited advertising for other IRC networks, commercial websites, or any other offers – whether in public channels or via private message (Query) – is strictly prohibited.
Flooding: Intentionally flooding channels with massive amounts of text or rapid line repetitions disrupts the flow of chat and will be stopped by our systems or operators.
Bots & Scripts: Custom bots and automated scripts are generally welcome, but must be briefly discussed with the team beforehand. Bots that block channels, log users without permission, or disrupt operations will be banned.
Privacy: This chat relies on trust between users. Publishing private conversation logs (query logs) without permission is not allowed.

No Legal Claim: Using this IRC network is a privilege, not a right. We provide this server free of charge and in our spare time.
Your Content: Every user bears sole responsibility for the texts they write, the commands they send, and the links they share.
Illegal Content: Distributing unlawful content (e.g., copyrighted material without permission, malware, hate speech) results in an immediate, permanent ban from the entire network.
Team Decisions: Our admin and operator team ensures a pleasant experience for everyone. The instructions of the team must be followed. In case of violations, we reserve the right to kick or permanently ban (G-line) users from the server without warning.
// Privacy:
Your privacy is important to us. We only process data that is technically essential for the operation, safety of the chat, and the provision of features.
What data is collected:
Server Protocols (Logfiles) & Retention: To defend against attacks (such as DDoS), troubleshoot errors, and protect against spam bots, the server records technical logs. These logfiles contain your nickname (display name), username (technical identifier of your client), IP address/hostname, as well as timestamps for login and logout. These system logs are retained for a duration of 30 days and are automatically deleted afterwards.
Nick Registration: If you permanently register your nickname via our services to protect it from being used by others, you must provide a valid email address. This address will be stored permanently as long as the registration is active and is used exclusively for account management (e.g., password recovery).
How we protect your privacy:
IP Address Masking (Cloaking): To protect you against malicious third-party access, your IP address is automatically encrypted or masked by the server immediately after connecting. It is never visible to normal users in the chat.
No Retention of Conversations: The contents of channels and private messages are not logged or stored by our servers. The text passes transiently through the server's volatile memory to be forwarded to the recipients.
Your Rights: You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. If you wish to delete your registered nickname (and thus your stored email address), you can either do this yourself via the chat commands or send us an email.
